THE STORY

For the first nine years of my life, I lived in foster care. When I was ten, I was adopted into the family that would become my home, and somewhere along the way I met the woman who would forever change the way I understood family.

My Granny became the heart of our family. She wasn’t just our grandmother—she was our matriarch. She remembered every story, every tradition, every milestone, and every person who came before us. Around her table, family history wasn’t something that lived in on a shelf. It was something we talked about, celebrated, and carried forward together.

She taught me that family isn’t defined by biology. It’s built through love, shared experiences, and the stories we choose to keep alive.

When she passed away, I realized something I hadn’t fully understood before. The photographs she left behind mattered, but what mattered even more were the memories attached to them. They became reminders of her laugh, her wisdom, her traditions, and the legacy she left woven into our family.

That’s when photography became something much bigger than beautiful images.

Every wedding is more than a celebration. It’s the beginning of a family’s story. My role isn’t simply to document your day—it’s to help create an experience that becomes part of the legacy your family carries forward for generations.
